cgtr - Discovery of Genetic Signatures and Bioactive Molecules

About Us

The CGTR provides translational research capabilities and chemical genomics services in a high throughput format. Combining intellectual and technical expertise from public and private sectors, the center is an university-industry partnership between BIO5 Institute, The University of Arizona (UA), and High-Throughput Genomics, Inc. (HTG). The BIO5 Institute at UA is at the leading edge of life sciences research, bringing together faculty and other researchers from five disciplines to tackle complex biology-based problems affecting humanity today. HTG, an Arizona-based company, markets the primary proprietary technology to be used in this partnership, the quantitative Nuclease Protection Assay (qNPA).

This partnership benefits HTG, UA and academic research by making the qNPA platform available to a variety of academic laboratories. The CGTR is located in the BIO5 Institute, University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona.
